...the costliest of all. So Art’s song says. At least the fancy stuff is, but I stopped by the Milwaukee Public Market (I’m waiting to see how long it is before someone disables the big neon “L” in “public”) last night and picked up a little plastic to-go box of “Alaskan Roll” at Sushi A Go Go for $5.95. Six little sushi units, soy sauce packets, wasabi, that pickled pink stuff I don’t remember the name of, and cheap disposable chop sticks. Which I am way out of practice with.

Very mild flavor, sure to please those who’d rather avoid strong, fishy, or odd flavors and sure to disappoint those who are looking for stronger tastes or who want to impress/alarm friends (mmmmm...tentacle!)

Anyway, even if it’s not Groin-Grabbingly Transcendent it’s a fine light meal after a trip to Central Library. They have many other foods to try, as well.

Also, the Cedarburg Coffee Roastery sells great cafe mocha. Much better coffee than web design--they have broken internal links and don’t even give their locations anywhere that I could find it. They have a shop in the Public Market. Just follow the scent of the roasting coffee.

If you make it down Chicago-wards, you can come with us to House of Sushi and Noodles - $11.95 maki buffet, all-you-can-eat.

"House of Sushi and Noodles" sounds great. I ought to get Chicago-ward more often.
