Back from Windycon

I’m back from Windycon, safe and sound. I’ll have more to say later, plus photos, but the short version is, I had a great time. Lots of wonderful filk.

And for someone who was not present in person, only song, aryana_filker: Thanks for writing beautiful songs that no one around here has heard yet, so though I don’t think I really had the melody exactly right on “Ichabod’s Theme,” no one else really knows for sure, do they? :) That’s not an easy one for me to sing, but everyone seemed to like it anyway. I hope you don't mind me giving it a try.

I found your MP3s about two weeks ago. That's where I learned the tune.
Your singing is very nice. I wonder, do you have any music or chords written down for any of your music that you might share?

Yes, I have all my songs written down. I use the Capella software, but I also can scan the sheets and send them to you via email. OR you can get my two songbooks with all the songs I have written so far in them. *gg* Drop me a note for information about shipping etc!

like i said Friday (& saturday probably - i was a bit wound ya know), i actually felt completely and utterly spoiled :) Waaaaaaay more than any one person deserves really :) But it was fantastic and wonderful and i thank you for your incredible part in it :) Was GREAT seeing you again, and meeting Joyce, and hearing so much music from you!!!! *bouncyyay*

I still find it astounding how we various people can attend conventions and come away from them with completely different experiences, but still all good. :)
