Christmas in October

beige_alertI stopped by Mayfair Mall in the Milwaukee-area (I’m not sure what jurisdiction it is technically in) and what did I see but:
I went back out to my car to get my camera to get this photo.
It’s still almost a week until Halloween. I don’t know how long this has been up. The Holiday displays really do go up earlier every year. When I was a youth, I always thought the old people were exaggerating when they said the store displays went up earlier every year. Now, I realize that by the time I’m my mother’s age, the Christmas Shopping Season is going to start in early February.
