I stopped by the new Milwaukee Public Market today. The vegetables are just beautiful. I bought an ear of the best corn I’ve had in ages, some red potatoes, and some really wonderful cherries. The cherry woman was urging everyone to try a sample, which was a really effective sales technique. I also got a Sacagawea dollar coin as change from her, the first time I’ve ever used one in an actual transaction. The corn was supposedly picked this morning, which is easy to believe from the flavor.
