haiku?

Noted singer and flutist cflute has a tendency to write haiku after riding her bicycle to work. I also sing and play flute, though not nearly as well as her, and I often ride my bicycle to work (who is the stronger cyclist I don’t know), so why not a haiku from me. Fall is setting in: It was about six degrees Celsius this morning, with frost on the grass, I saw Orion high in the sky at 01:40 Sunday morning while on my way home from Pythonacon, and I’m noticing that darkness is setting in early in the evening.

Pythonacon

I had a terrific day Saturday at tesselene, gundo, and _stag‘s Pythonacon. Lots of interesting people were there, and I got to see little Gabriel. Given that the unpleasant substances oozing from all ends were not my problem, he was just adorable. He spent the first few hours I was there sleeping. Every now and then he’d stretch, which is cute as can be. Normally his head appears to be pretty much set directly on his body, but he’d stretch his neck out and suddenly look a lot like E.T.
