Via Kevin Kelly, check out NASA's Cities At Night gallery. "But taking pictures in the dark is difficult at best, made even more difficult by the fact that the International Space Station moves more than 7 kilometers per second (15,659 miles per hour) relative to Earth’s surface." So they rigged up a tracker out of stuff they found floating around in the space station, and have taken many lovely photos. They have a 127 megabyte video that's worth seeing. The narration sometimes sounds more robot than human, but it's quite interesting.
