Snow update

Since the first signs of spring are probably only a few weeks away, I figured those of you who've been planting flowers outdoors these last few weeks would like a snow update:



Naturally, the warm days we've had have melted off lots of the accumulated snow:


But we still do get some fresh snow now and then:

Though this looked pretty, it didn't snow long enough for any significant accumulation.

Winters have been so weird here lately. Even though we had some really cold periods, and some that were just right for snow, we simply had no rainfall in that time. And you still get snow in March. Wow.

Oh, sometimes we'll get enough snowfall to ski on as late as early April. We did in 2003. It hardly even snowed until March that year.
