It's been snowing here in Wisconsin. That's good for skiing, not so good for driving around, though I did both on Saturday, before the snow accumulated to the point that I decided to spend the night at home instead of filking. By Sunday morning the roads had been cleared and I went out to see Joyce and to eat.

Photos of winter, and an update on my world-famous icicle:

The world-famous icicle, still growing:

So what's underneath that it wants to stab so badly? (If slowly...)

(If the answer is boring, I want you to lie to me, FYI.)

We may be headed for the dramatic yet very slow showdown between the evergreen shrub, which defiantly stays green during the season of ice and which is capable of growing upwards very slowly, and the icicle, eager to enforce its icy will by growing downwards very slowly.

I am still tempted to sent over my favourite colleague so that you can put him under the icicle...

I hope you aren't tempting the icicle thief.
