candles

I'm going to just blame the German pack for this, but I've acquired some candles and stuff. No lantern so pretty as lisande's, but that red candle is "Mexican Cocoa" scented :)



It does smell nice:

This one is held in a holder stuck in the top of the (now empty) wine bottle seen in the background of the other photo.

Can't blame the Germans for this -- I was lighting and using candles for years before I knew any Germans!

Well, sure, I knew about candles before, too. But between Dea's lantern and Ayrana's nifty living room light, I got inspired to actually burn some of my own.

There are all sorts of things I can blame the German gang for! Candles. Singing in German. My becoming an agent of intercontinental filk song transport. Yummy sausage! Hugs!
