beige_alertJoyce and I went shopping after work on Friday. She had the battery in her watch replaced, I bought a new one for myself. Aside from many fewer scratches, the new one also has bigger numbers on the display and, most importantly, no buttons on the top, where I tend to accidentally press them. Occasionally switching to the second time zone (which I keep set to UTC) is only mildly annoying, but accidentally stopping the stopwatch during the lap I was timing is very annoying.
