Wind Leaves

This fascinating artwork installation, Wind Leaves, by Ned Kahn, is nearing completion near Discovery World and just south of the Milwaukee Art Museum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

These things rotate in the wind and are covered with small mirrors that ripple in the breezes.

I have a video clip made with my digital camera of the leaves in motion.

This thing is a musical device that rings when you drop gravel into it.

Pins inside are hit by falling gravel and ring.
I have a video clip of the chime in action.

Not only do the benches mimic the shape of the leaves, they are also musical instruments.
