Write a little paragraph about your name, why you chose it, what it means to you, etc.

A beige alert, would, of course, be considerably less urgent than a red alert. I've always thought "beige" sounded funny, and have a habit of attempting to be funny by substituting beige for other colors. "Beige sky in the morning, sailors take warning." I can only hope that in some solar system somewhere there is a gas giant planet with a Great Beige Spot. I use the name on #filkhaven, too, where it does work out well. Beige_Lunch, for example, is good for the occasional chuckle.

What would you change your name to, if you were changing it?

I don't really have much in the way of ideas, other than my real name.

What is your favorite username? Why?

It's got to be happyfunpaul. I mean, how can you beat that?
