Things I Learned Today

I learned that the reason the eastbound number 23 bus has been consistently really late to the 107th and Fond du Lac stop is that they changed the darn schedule again already, so it’s not late, I’m early.
In unit 2.1, I began learning about the German modal verb here, infinitive way at the end of the sentence thing.
I learned that the wine store has opened at the Public Market. Also, the grilled salmon burger from St. Paul’s Fish Company is really, really good. And the cute Asian woman at the coffee place recognizes me.
I learned that waking up from a dream in which I was laughing hysterically at something left me feeling all happy and smiley.

I can't remember to ever have woken up from a dream laughing - though my husband does this quite regularly. He looks very cute when he does...

I look at pictures of cute beautiful elves sometimes. So I think, no need to be jealous.
*laughs*
Sorry, I am giggly.
I awoke all grumpy this morning. Jan snored half the night and I could'nt sleep and was too lazy to move myself on the sofa or the guest bed.

No, Lisande, stop this. And go wash your dirty toughts with soap!

Date: 2005-12-30 07:38 am (UTC)Yes... What Aryana said. She's still cute even if I'm not looking in that way. Just as you are cute, too, though both of us are "taken." :)

Date: 2005-12-30 03:00 pm (UTC)I'm pleased to see that my German, such as it is, is also weird. Besides the textbook words like heißen, trinken, kaufen, die Milch, der Zucker, die Briefmarken, and the ever-popular die Touristeninformation (which looks a lot like one of those fake words Americans make up, like Dave Barry's fake German for subway, Godownundergroundundpayunfairundridearoundentrainen), I also know such things as oink, der Affe, knuddel, and schnurrrrrrrrr. :) (Hm, is there a "trip to the zoo" chapter in this German book? I'm all set for that!)
