Better than average smell

beige_alertThere was a holiday potluck lunch party on the 4th floor of the college here, and the halls smell wonderful. Much better than usual. Usual is more like mercaptoethanol. For the non-chemists, that’s closely related to the stuff they put in natural gas so that you can smell leaks.
