mosquitoes

As of Sunday night, I seem to have a few mosquito bites. The odd thing is, these are the first of the year. Normally, I seem to remember the mosquitoes coming out earlier, like maybe June or July. A week into September is really, really late. There were none at Oshkosh, at the end of July, which everyone was happy about. Probably this means something about the weather also messed up the life cycles of less aggravating life forms, but it’s been nice not having the mosquitoes.
