Always on the lookout for the unusual, I bought a bottle of pomegranate wine made by Prosyan in Armenia. $11.79 US at my local Outpost Co-op. I’ve learned that in the word of wine one’s preconceived notions of what something will taste like may well be wrong. In this case, however, the wine does indeed bring to mind pomegranate juice. It’s a sweet, fruity wine, just the sort of thing I like.
