I'm felling less bad today. I've had a cold but seem to be nearing recovery. At least nothing really hurts and I'm breathing OK.
I did get some archery practice in yesterday. I managed to hurt my hand yanking the arrows out of the target. They are so hard to pull out I rubbed off some skin from my left little finger.
It's a beautiful day, but I took my car to work, since I'm still sniffly and riding home in the semi-dark with a trailer-load of groceries didn't seem appealing. I'd forgotten how unappealing a trip on highway 45 at rush hour is. Was exciting watching the truck in front of me locking its brakes trying to avoid hitting the truck in front of it. The commute by car is about ten minutes quicker than by bicycle, though the bicycle time is more consistent. This is a remarkably small speed improvement given all the horsepower and the quite high speeds in fact reached, at least briefly. The bicycle is more fun, too.
