The changing of the clocks
Oct. 31st, 2005 04:16 pmI noticed that the twice-annual changing of the clocks at work gets gradually easier. The elderly computers that can’t keep track of daylight saving time on their own are gradually getting replaced. Now it’s just the two 386 boxes, the oscilloscope, the two peptide synthesizers, and the wall clock. We used to have the other 386, the 286, the embedded PC-XT in the protein sequencer, and some of the regular office PCs had to be set by hand back then.
At home, not so much. Still two clocks on the bike, one in the car, bathroom, bedroom, microwave, bread machine. At least the cable TV box takes care of itself.
