Spring!

Spring has come to Milwaukee. I spent Saturday walking around the city, Sunday walking by the river, and today was my first day of commuting by bicycle this year. I also walked to the local Walgreens for half-price chocolate bunnies. It’s not great chocolate, but it’s half price, and I get to bite the heads off of bunnies.

I had a more interesting than average lucid dream this morning. The actual lucid part wasn’t so interesting and didn’t (sigh) last very long, but the way I realized that I was dreaming was way more complex than usual. I was trying to get to work by walking through snow to get to my bicycle, which was out somewhere half-way to work, and I was, of course, late. This doesn’t make a lot of sense, as is usual for dreams, but I actually managed to think though how this didn’t make any sense, given that, after all, I own a car, which would be a much easier way to travel under the circumstances, and figured out that I must be dreaming. Usually I don’t run though such a logical process to realize that I’m dreaming.
