Word of the day

Seen on a whiteboard down the hall, today’s Word of the Day is: detanonoate. DETA-NONOate is (Z)-1-[2-(2-Aminoethyl)-N-(2-ammonioethyl)amino]diazen-1-ium-1,2-diolate, a compound in desperate need of a snappy trade name, and is apparently used by the NO people in their research. I think it has great song lyric potential (The pain will surely be quite great // Should it DETANONOate).
