I looked out my window this morning and saw this:





I have no idea how that happened. It seems like a bigger-than-average screwup. If everything was covered with ice, I can imagine someone sliding down that driveway. It is, however, summer. Fortunately, it's not my car, and not my ditch.

I have this memory from my visit to the Netherlands way back when of people driving rather fast on narrow roads adjacent to the canals in Amsterdam. Seemed...risky.
