I've ordered tickets for the April 4 organ recital at Madison's Overture Hall. Resident organist Samuel Hutchison will play a bunch of music on the fairly new Orgelbau Klais instrument. No thanks to the stupid online ticket site, which "requires Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 or higher or Netscape Navigator 4.77" and just hangs partway through the process with Firefox. I don't still have Netscape 4.77 on hand, for some reason, and honestly I'd be stunned if that actually worked with the site anyway, so I guess it's really IE only. Thanks, guys, I really appreciate having to use the mass spectrometer data analysis computer at work to buy concert tickets.

Joyce did say that this sounded like an interesting event. She didn't actually say that she wanted to come with me to Madison on a Tuesday night until after I bought my ticket. Could have saved $3 in fees if I'd know that while ordering. And why they charge an extra fee for the buying part of buying tickets I don't know. It's $17, plus $4 each for I don't know what, plus $3 per order to cover the immense costs of making sure their web site doesn't even work right. Except that when I actually ordered the web page says it's $20 plus $5 plus $3 which somehow equals $23, which I guess is new math. Or IE-only math, perhaps.

Oh, I hate these ticket ordering sites that only work well with IE! I use Opera and Firefox, I never had Netscape on running on my machine and I don't like the IE for its security bugs.
I once tried to order cinestar tickets online and had the same problems.

Ah well... if a woman says "sounds interesting" of course she really means "I wanna come along!" Men... ;)

And that new math thing sounds interesting, too... could be one of my calculations, I'm that good with math...

'if a woman says "sounds interesting" of course she really means "I wanna come along!"'

Except for all those times when she actually means something else entirely! :-)

Sure. Didn't I say just that? ;D

Btw - I love your icon, it's so cute!

Men just need to learn to listen to us... and to interpret the deeper meaning that we, of course, imply and expect the men to understand. Which, of course, they can't - because they are just men. So we shouldn't be angry with them, they just don't have the possibility to keep up with us. ;)

"Btw - I love your icon, it's so cute!"

Ashton was about 4 months old in that picture. He's now 3.5 years and still cute, but at 13 pounds, it's a different kind of cute.
(In case you're interested.)

Oh, he's a beauty!

Shadow was 4 month old when we got him -

Curiously, this race is cuter as adults than as kittens:

I hope these links work, I'm not that adept with this...

Right, we are hopeless. Really, though, it would be easier you women could agree on whether being vague and evasive means "yes, I want to go out with you" or "no, I'm not interested in you." ;)

It's about time I heard "the king of instruments" in person. (Do you ever call it that in Germany?) Especially with all the organists I know these days.

Very nice at either age. Love the white "ankle socks". :-)

*g* I especially like the fur between his toes. It makes for funny situations. Imagine a cat who tries to jump onto a stone windowsill - and slips because of that hair.
He always looks very embarrassed when that happens... do you think the reason for his embarrassement might be the fact that my husband and I are usually howling with laughter after he has fallen? *looks innocent*
