Today on How’s It Taste, water buffalo milk yogurt from the Woodstock Water Buffalo Co. It’s a firm yogurt. Almost crumbly, actually. It’s not awful. But it’s not good, either.

Are you trying to poach on the territory of Steve Don't Eat It?

No, I'm going to stick to more conventional edible items. Imported water, Red Bull, slightly-odd but not-too-odd yogurts....

They were out of the kind I like, so I bought a few kinds I haven't tried before. I was actually hoping for something *good*, but you win some, you get a blog post out of some.

But water buffalo yogurt is hardly conventional, and your description doesn't strike me as edible either.

Well, yogurt made from milk, with fruit in it, is conventional, and water buffalo are pretty much like cows, so that's almost conventional, and, sure, I didn't actually like it, but still, compared to corn fungus or silkworm pupas, pretty normal.
