groove soaked ambient chill

I’ve been looking through the Magnatune catalog recently, and descriptions of music are always amusing. It’s hard to describe music, but that won’t stop me from making fun of the descriptions. In particular, Four Stones, which is described as “groove soaked ambient chill.” I think that’s a great description. I have no idea what it means, but it sounds great. I keep wondering if the “groove soaking” process is at all like the making of my favorite Spanish cheese, in which goat-milk cheese is soaked in red wine. Perhaps wine in large quantities is involved in groove soaked ambient chill.

The great thing about Magnatune is that you can listen to the whole thing for free as a 128kbps MP3 stream before deciding whether or not to buy it. I listened to a few tracks and wasn’t really into it, but maybe I just wasn’t in an ambient chill kind of mood. I was in more of a Seismic Anamoly mood.
