The endless barrage of Christmas music blaring from the radio in the lab down the hall has finally reached a new low, that Alvin and the Chipmunks Christmastime is here-thing.

For some reason, they never play Tom Smith’s Hey Frickin’ Nonny (MP3). That’s one of my favorites.

I just had an epiphany: Christmas music is a conspiracy on the part of the sellers of noise-cancelling headphones.
