today's adventures, including dinner
Dec. 4th, 2004 09:30 pmI bought a late-70s Time-Life book (with pretty pictures) about Amsterdam at Downtown Books. I saw a percussion duo including a steel drum playing Christmas music. The refrigerated ice rink at Red Arrow Park is open, and many people were circling the ice under the lights. I didn't hang around long enough to see the Zamboni go to work, but I've seen it in action before.
I ate dinner at Mo's Cucina. This is a nice little place downtown serving Italian food at relatively reasonable prices, at least compared to the other "Mo's" restaurants. I had a little table by the window, so I could watch the world go by as I ate. I had the manicotti and a bottle of Dang That's Good root beer. It was quite good.
