I'm back at work today. The last week I've been at Oshkosh, and the weekend before that in Chicago with [livejournal.com profile] almeda. My apartment looks like a camping supply store got hit by a tornado. It is nice to be back in my own bed. I've been away from the bicycle for nearly two weeks, so even cycling felt almost odd this morning.

It was pretty hot Friday and Saturday and Sunday afternoons. It wasn't quite so hot earlier in the week.

I had a great time. Lots of interesting planes.

I had no idea you'd gone to Oshkosh! Envy, envy! Some day I'll get to go. I hope it was good and you got to see the weird stuff like the new Cessnas.

Well, I live in Milwaukee, so OSH is just an hour and a half of driving away.

Lots of great stuff. A Lancaster bomber. Also, a B-1B and a C-17. The Blue Angles didn't do a show but did fly past in formation a few times, with Blue Angel 7 taking pictures from the air. The F-22 demo. That sucker is *loud*. The had one doing high-speed flybys while the other was up at fairly high (safe) altitude doing very low speed thrust-vectoring turns, loops, hammerheads, and whatnot.
