Spring must be on the way

With the warm weather the ice is breaking up on the Milwaukee River downtown, as you can see in my photo from last night. Soon enough the lakes will thaw out and it will be time for kayaking again, provided you have a dry suit.

Besides being water-tight, the suit is air-tight, so as she submerged, the top inflated.... It looks somewhat less silly otherwise. Though it's interesting watching her get her head through the neck gasket (http://www.flickr.com/photos/beigephotos/1865875067/).

Very nice picture of the river! I bet if you sent it in to whichever station has people's photos as part of the weather report they would put it on TV

Thanks. The river area is being made prettier. People finally noticed that rivers can be pretty.

Now, of course, as a German, you're an expert on odd-sounding hard-to-say and, of course, really long words, right?

But seriously, I cannot even imagine how weird some german words must sound to foreigners =)
