I looked out my window this morning and saw this:





I have no idea how that happened. It seems like a bigger-than-average screwup. If everything was covered with ice, I can imagine someone sliding down that driveway. It is, however, summer. Fortunately, it's not my car, and not my ditch.

Wisconsin seems to be a dangerous area for cars... first yours, than Joyce's, now that one...
It seems to be pretty wet, though. That can be as slippery as ice!

Oh it's been raining, yes, but, proper speed for a driveway is quite slow!

Yes... but thinking of how all those idiots race down our driveway (which is more narrow and far steeper than that one) I just thought it might be the reason for the accident... ;)

I have this memory from my visit to the Netherlands way back when of people driving rather fast on narrow roads adjacent to the canals in Amsterdam. Seemed...risky.

Well... yes. It always gives me a heartattack, especially in summer... when from the other direction children race along the yard on their rollerblades...
