Tradition
In accordance with the ancient solstice celebration tradition that I invented two years ago, I went ice skating. Milwaukee has one of the world's eleven indoor 400-meter speed skating ovals. It wasn't a very busy evening and I had the big oval nearly to myself. (If you're not familiar with the size, there are two full-size 30X60 meter rinks in the center of the oval.) Plenty of space for skating backwards without hitting anyone, and plenty of space for sprinting as fast as I could go.
