Spring!

Welcome to spring in southeastern Wisconsin! Photos of the snow here. By the end of the snowfall roughly 30cm had accumulated. The skiing was pretty good at Lapham Peak this morning. The melting is already beginning, though.

According to the official records, we've had a total of 96.9 inches / 2.46 meters of snow this winter, making it the second snowiest winter since 1885-1886, when 109.8 in. / 2.79 m fell.

Yup. We thought it might just be enough to make driving to work an oyster carnival without being enough for skiing, but in fact we got plenty for skiing. :)

Hee! Actually, it's snowed a tiny bit over here to as I noticed last night. But it's already melting :-)
