What's. Outside. My. Window!

The view out my living room window this morning:

Die großen Eiszapfen

Icicle

If anything, they grew even bigger during the day, stretching from above my head down to about foot level.

Whoa! They look really cool. Yeah. In every meaning. :)

We had several like that in the winter when we lived in Binghamton (NY) back in the mid 80's. They are very impressive an also beautiful when the sun shines on them.

Cool indeed. And cold I bet *shivers at the sight*

It's been warm! Why, it was up to -2C this morning!

Beautiful! They remind me of A.'s and my visit to Partnachtklamm a few years back!

Btw - I put something in the mail for you on Tuesday, I hope it will arrive in time! :)

And... I still owe you an e-mail. Sorry. No beatings, please, I know I'm lazy these days...

*hides*

Warm? Yeah. Sure.

This is sooooo cool! (Quite literally, too :-))
I always loved the Eiszapfen in the US. Tend to grow bigger there (I guess it`s the lack of isolation)

[identity profile] beige-alert.livejournal.com 2007-12-13 07:58 pm (UTC)(link)
Wait until you see the next photo. It's grown even bigger!

*lach*
I've lured you into speaking part German, part English, too :)

Something on the way? Cool :)
The mail between our countries has been pretty fast usually.

No beatings, I promise. (Unless you ask nicely for one, that is)
