10 years... I'm in my job for 8 1/2 years now, not counting the apprenticeship (another 3 years).

Btw - what is it that you are doing? I never understood it from the random entries I sometimes read. Sounded to me like you're in a laboratory of some sort, but I might have got it completely wrong.
